Kanaly Trust goes for the direct approach online

Texas wealth-management firm's website features small, talkative executives. Houston-based Kanaly Trust new website features online multimedia applications from Schipul's Tendenci software in a bid to make a quick and lasting impression on clients and prospects.

Personal touch

Indeed Houston-based Schipul's applications let Kanaly use some presentation techniques found on some big-name corporate websites. From the viewer's perspective it boils down to a website with unusually large swathes of white space and people popping up on screen to make speeches.

These audio-video presentations, featuring many of Kanaly's executives, are meant to create an instant personal connection between the website's visitors and the firm. Schipul's content-management system also lets Kanaly's employees keep the site's content fresh.

Kanaly Trust caters to executives, business owners, professionals and retirees. It has around $2 billion in assets under management. -FWR
